Assignment 1: Literature Review (1,500 Words)
Produce a literature review related to a fashion management issue of your choice.
1) Use market intelligence sources to choose and introduce the idea for your topic, with a research aim and 3-4 objectives.
2) Use recent academic literature to develop your understanding of the topic in more depth. A literature review of this length would usually discuss 4-5 academic sources in depth.
The purpose of this literature review is to examine recent academic work that would help you understand your chosen topic in greater depth. In addition to summarising the sources accurately and brie y, you must also demonstrate the relationships between the sources chosen and the topic. This can include adapting sources as necessary, so that they can be applied in a new context. At an advanced level, a literature review will also critique the sources used, discussing ways in which they can be improved or extended.
