Personal Experience Paper
Write a paper about your personal experience related to your case of academic dishonesty. The paper should be thoughtful, clear, and include responses to the questions below. Please make sure that your paper is typed, double-spaced, with 12 point Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins and is 3-5 pages in length. Remember to include the Honor Pledge.
What were the circumstances leading to your academic violation? (Talk about your experiences in the class, the assignments required of you, your relationship with the instructor, your daily schedule, your progress in the class, the amount of coursework in that and other classes, and if you were co-charged with another classmate, your relationship with that person.)
What was happening with you and in your life at the time of your violation?
Identify specifically what you did that violated the academic honesty policy.
Describe your thoughts and emotions leading up to and immediately following the violation but before you were charged.
Describe what you were thinking and feeling upon being charged with the violation.
In the time that has passed since the incident, how have your thoughts and feelings about the incident changed?
What would you do if faced with a similar situation in the future?
